For some, Christmas is not “the most wonderful time of the year.” The holiday season can be difficult for those with heavy hearts. Many need reassurance and comfort, whether grieving the loss of a loved one, facing illness, job loss, broken relationships, anxiety, depression, or divorce.
The Blue Christmas Service at Nashville Baptist Church offers a space to reflect, acknowledge burdens, and embrace the hope Jesus provides. Join us on Thursday, December 21st, from 6–7 PM, the winter solstice—the darkest day of the year.
If you’re struggling, we invite you to find peace here. If not, we encourage you to come to support those who are.
The holiday season can be challenging for those facing grief, loss, or hardship. A Blue Christmas Service creates a space for reflection and solace, offering hope amidst the struggles. Through quiet prayers, comforting music, and moments of remembrance, we acknowledge the pain many experience while celebrating the light of Christ.
At Nashville Baptist Church, we’re hosting this service to provide a haven for anyone needing encouragement this season. Join us as we honor loss and cling to the promise of God’s peace.
Everyone is welcome. Whether you’re carrying grief, navigating hardships, or simply seeking a quiet space during the busy holiday season, this service is for you. It’s a time to reflect, remember, and find hope in the presence of God. Bring your family, friends, or come on your own—no matter where you are in life, you’ll find a warm and compassionate community here.
